Elise Dirkse, OTR

Elise Dirkse, OTRElise Dirkse is an Occupational Therapist who specializes in the treatment of children. She has many years of experience working within the school system and in private practice.

Elise has enjoyed working with clients with a wide variety of challenges including developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing issues, and neurological impairments. She is a 1992 graduate of Western Michigan University's Occupational Therapy program. Elise has continued specialized training in Therapeutic Listening, Sensory Integration, Craniosacral Therapy, Greenspans Floortime/DIR model, and the Interactive Metronome.

Elise also participates in Camp Avanti, an internationally known camp for children with sensory processing challenges. She has collaborated with therapists from across the country on developing songs and interventions for sensory regulation and processing.
