Carolyn Eckertova, M.A. CCC-SLP
Carolyn Eckertova has practiced as a speech and language pathologist in the schools, hospitals, and private practice. She has a B.A. from Michigan State University in audiology and speech sciences and a minor in French Language studies.
Carolyn completed her M.A. in speech pathology at MSU in 1996. She has extensive experience with communication disorders in both children and adults and has treated disorders including: apraxia of speech, oral motor disorders, developmental dysarthria, language disorders, articulation/phonology, central auditory processing, dysphagia and dysfluency.
Current interests include Greenspan's Floortime/DIR model, PROMPT, Talk Tools, and Lindamood-Bell programs. Her research interests include neuroscience and specifically the brains underlying processes contributing to development and learning.
